CSE7101 Advanced Probability and Stastics
This course covers the fundamentals of probability theory including probabilistic models, discrete and continuous random variables, multiple random variables, and limit theorems, which are typically part of a first course on the subject. It also contains a number of more advanced topics, such as, random variable transforms, a more advanced view of conditioning, sums of random variables, and a fairly detailed introduction to Bernoulli, Poisson, and Markov processes.
CSE7202 Advanced Topics in Operating System
The course is designed to provide students with latest research and development trends in the area of Computing and especially in the area of Context-aware Computing. This is important to announce, so students must know this before registering the course.
CSE7204 Cloud Computing
Understand the concept of cloud computing and proceed with the project. Understand the features of virtual machine and develop projects such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS. Learn how to use cloud service of Amazon and Google and cloud service development practice using PaaS (Azure, Openshift, Cloudfoundry) and cultivate practical skill of provisioning and operating virtual resources through OpenStack.
CSE7302 Advanced HCI
The advanced topics in HCI class first reviews the principles of human-centered design of an interactive digital system. It includes the three core principles-usability, usefulness, and affection-as well as the techniques for analyzing user, task, and technology. Then, the class moves to advanced topics of haptics and virtual reality. This covers computer, machine, and human haptics as well as input and output devices in VR.
CSE7303 Advanced Computer Vision
Computer vision is an interdisciplinary research field that deals with how computers can be made for gaining high-level understanding from digital images or videos. In this class we study following topics: Feature Extraction, Visual Tracking, Shape Matching, Pattern Detection, Object Recognition, Gesture Recognition, Scene Understanding, 3D Reconstruction.
CSE7402 Advanced Computer Networking
This course introduces next generation service support technology, stream technology in core/distribution/access network to support high quality/high efficiency and system architecture requirement and considerations.
CSE7511 Advanced IoT

This course introduces sensor network protocols that are the basis of IoT, especially energy-saving routing, security technology, and sink mobility technology.

CSE7514 Cognitive Psychology
This course acquire basic knowledge of humanitas convergence education and cognitive psychological knowledge which is the basis of AI and SW.
CSE7517 Time Series Data Analysis
This course introduce the characteristics of time series data and learns LSTM, GRU, etc. based on RNN, which is excellent in analyzing time series data.
CSE7518 Advanced VR/AR
This course learn a way to make a new idea and deep-analysis about latest display technology and interaction technology in virtual reality/ augmented reality domain.
CSE7519 Computational imaging)
This course acquire the latest technology related to 3D imaging through acquisition/processing of SW-based three-dimensional data, such as point image, depth sensor, coded sensor and volumetric camera.
CSE7520 Advanced Intelligent Media
This course introduce basic concept and theory for intelligent visual media processing, which combines artificial intelligence technology and digital media technology. It also covers the related research trends and standards of intelligent media processing. The prerequisite for this course is knowledge on machine learning and deep learning.
CSE7522 Machine Learning
Machine Learning is concerned with computer programs that automatically improve their performance through experience. This course covers the theory and practical algorithms for machine learning from a variety of perspectives. We cover topics such as Bayesian networks, decision tree learning, Support Vector Machines, statistical learning methods, unsupervised learning and reinforcement learning. The course covers theoretical concepts such as inductive bias, the PAC learning framework, Bayesian learning methods, margin-based learning, and Occam's Razor.
CSE8003 Technical Writing & Research Ethics
Continual Learning is a concept to train a model for a large number of tasks sequentially without forgetting knowledge obtained from the preceding tasks. Through this course, the students learn and design the algorithms for new concepts about continual learning.
CSE8301 Advanced Computer Graphics
This course introduces 3D modeling for visualizing, generating of computer graphic and conversing of 2D and 3D, theory about shading and the latest study trend. And this lectures provide the chance to make the 3D modeling in practice and simulation system using OpenGL.
CSE8502 Pattern Recognition
This course introduces the basic concepts, theories, and algorithms for pattern recognition and machine learning. These are used in computer vision, image processing, speech recognition, data mining, statistics, and bioinformatics. Topics include: Bayesian decision theory, parametric and non-parametric learning, clustering, component analysis, support vector machines, and boosting.

META7010 Metaverse Literacy
Based on the elderly technology acceptance model, students will learn about literacy research trends in various technology fields to increase metaverse literacy, which is the ability to use metaverse technologies to support independent living for the elderly, and introduce programs and policies that can increase literacy for the elderly's personal use of technology and for care recipients as well as care workers.
META7011 Avatar Behavioral Psychology
This course explores the behavior of avatars and human interaction in the metaverse space, enabling students to understand the social interaction of human-avatar and avatar-avatar and the resulting social psychological phenomena in the virtual world, and to identify and solve problems.
META7012 Metaverse Creative Research Project
A class that selects a research topic from one of the various fields of metaverse application and diffusion, and proceeds with practical problem solving and thesis writing (held every semester).
META7013 Metaverse Deepening Research Project
A class that selects and conducts advanced research topics in one of the various metaverse application diffusion fields to solve practical problems and write papers for international conferences of excellence (offered every semester).
META7014 Metaverse Research Methodology
This course covers the theoretical foundations of metaverse-related research and various research methods to explore research possibilities in the metaverse field. Students will learn how to design research questions based on theoretical knowledge, collect and analyze data, and draw implications of research findings. Through this course, students will explore in-depth research methodologies related to various applications of metaverses. Students will learn both qualitative and quantitative methods of analysis, as well as basic statistics and how to interpret them.
META7015 Metaverse teaching and learning principles
In this course, students will explore teaching and learning principles that can be applied to the metaverse based on teaching and learning theories, and explore teaching and learning design methods and principles required for the metaverse education environment based on various real-world examples. Based on this, students will develop their own teaching and learning theories and principles optimized for the metaverse education environment and develop the ability to apply them in the real world.

Learn and practice gamification design methodologies for sustained utilization of metaverse content and services.
META708 Digital Media Studies
This course focuses on digital media, examining the intimate relationship between technology and visual culture and the development of a technology-based society. Students will learn how digital media affects image-making technologies, platform ecosystems, transmedia networks, immersive media, and the metaverse.
META709 Metaverse Ethics
This course discusses the posthuman problem caused by artificial intelligence from a philosophical perspective and focuses on the ethical issues of future technology development. Students will be able to understand the basics of general philosophy and ethics of technology and apply them to technology development.
SWCON7011 Intelligent Robotics
This course introduces the science and design of robots whose programmed behavior may be described as intelligent. We will explore principles and algorithms for computation in physical world. Topics covered include behavior-based embodied artificial intelligence, kinematics and inverse kinematics, geometric reasoning, motion planning, mapping and manipulation, biologically inspired and biomimetic robotics, distributed robotics and intelligence.
SWCON7015 Seminar on Game Analysis
We will deal with the history of major games from 1970s, when the first commercially available video game was introduced. We will learn how games with purposes other than entertainment have advanced. We will categorize games after 2010 and discuss what roles will games play in modern society.
SWCON7016 Seminar on Game Industry
We will deal with past and present of game industry. We will discuss its facing problems and propose direction of the game industry. People working in game industry will be invited to give talks and discuss the relevant issues.

In this course, we learn about the theories related to computer graphics used in games. Representative technologies include procedural terrain generation, procedural texture generation, physics simulation, character animation, real-time light calculation, and deep learning-based data generation. SWCON7028 Advanced Applications of Signal Processing
This course introduces characteristic, processing, and analysis methods for both one-dimensional and two-dimensional signals such as audio, active sensor data, image, and so forth. By understanding various filters, synthesis, and recognition methods that utilize temporal, spatial, and frequency data, students learn how to use them in various application systems such as autonomous vehicles and intelligent robots.
