FT7102 Comparative research of 'Author and Master'
With comparative analysis on the works of ingenious film writers and directors of genre movie, this course guides students to the big stream of world film industry, and leads students who are to reestablish his or her own creative ordinates.

Centered to the 1960’s Nouvelle Vague movies: differences between classical films and modern films, about its changing process, and concepts or tendencies of Modern Films will be studied.

It goes beyond the horizon of general research in relation to modern film and video art, discovers creative and challenging research topics, and attempts specific research on them. In addition, the modern performance theory suitable for this is searched and applied to research, and the actual research is practiced.
FT7109 Seminar on the History of Theater and Film
The main trends, ideologies, genres, representative writers and works of film history are reviewed, and their historical context and current influence are explored.
FT7110 Independent ProjectⅡ

Following the independent project 1, it is conducted under the customized guidance of an advisor according to the individual student’s detailed major and independent research topic, and research related to thesis, creation, and production is conducted. Students should present the finished results produced through this process, along with research proposals, research progress reports, and research results reports.

Going beyond the horizon of general research in relation to modern theater and musical, creative and challenging research topics are discovered, and specific research on them is attempted. In addition, the modern performance theory suitable for this is searched and applied to research, and the actual research is practiced.

It is a class that examines the trends and stylistic characteristics of each period according to the historical changes of performing arts. In particular, it intensively explores various stylistic practices in modern performances.
FT7204 Criticism of performance video works
By selecting representative works in the field of performance images such as modern films, documentaries, plays, and musicals, we evaluate not only the structure and composition, aesthetic characteristics, themes and worldview, but also detailed areas such as lines, music, acting, and directing elements to create and complete a work theory.

. For representative writers, composers, directors, and stage artists of modern plays and musicals, the creation process, techniques, characteristics of the work, and aesthetic personality are considered to create an author theory.

In the 21st century, we look at the latest concepts, trends, aesthetic trends related to performing arts, issues and discourses in the performing arts, trends in the industry, changes in performing arts methodology, and the latest emerging theory.
FT7209 Acting criticism of performance & video
The main contents of the 20th century acting theory starting from Stanislavski are reviewed, and this is applied to current Korean performances and videos to analyze and evaluate the practice of acting in contemporary works.
FT7213 Theory of Criticism of Theater and Film
As a basic methodology for theater and film research, we learn from classical theories to various theories such as authorism, modernism, postmodernism, feminism, postcolonialism, cultural reciprocity, post-drama, cognition, and semiotics.
FT7214 Practice performance video criticism
Criticism is written for contemporary performances and videos. Through this, we understand the current flow, topics, and debates in the performance and video world, and seek ways to form productive discourse through active valuation.
