Kyung-Hee University Doctoral & Master programs in Social Network Science were first created in the spring semester of 2014, in order to cope with the situation of growing academic and social needs for analyzing and designing complex socioeconomic systems.
The department was founded by the professors in the various fields such as Business Administration, Physics, Geography, and Mathematics, who are majoring in network physics, numerical analysis, spatial informatics, decision science, artificial intelligence, data science, and software engineering.
The department provides education and research techniques from the fusion of social science, network science, cognitive science, artificial intelligence science, big data analytics, and so on.
The Social Network Science Department analyzes and designs new social and economic phenomena by acquiring various theories and techniques. The department not only designs and builds intelligent systems and services, but it also trains professionals who are capable of interpreting and realizing the intelligent systems and the services.
